My Areas of Research

The development of novel organic reactions for the synthesis and modification of natural products and bioactive compounds

Simplified synthetic routes are important for the development of therapeutics and synthesis of natural products. I strive to develop new chemical transformations that will simplify relevant synthetic routes by expanding novel ligands and catalysis systems.

My Teaching Philosophy

I strive to imbue a curiosity and attraction toward chemistry, as I aim to foster skills in observation, research, and information communication in the researchers I train.
