Research Themes

Fundamental physical properties of materials studied by resonant ultrasound spectroscopy

Resonant ultrasound spectroscopy allows us to investigate elastic and anelastic properties of small specimens with regular and irregular shapes based on measurements of resonance spectra.
Using this tecnique, I work on investigating mechanical properties of advanced structural materials under service conditions and strain coupling behaviour of ferroic and multiferroic materials.

Teaching Philosophy

I cultivate human resources capable of thinking for him/herself and delving into things by providing education based on respecting self-initiative of students.
