Research Themes
The research of antenna system technologies to resolve radio wave depletion problems
I strive to develop antenna system technologies that resolve the radio wave depletion problems accompanying the prevalence of wireless communication, typified by mobile phones. I particularly focus on MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) transmissions. This is a revolutionary technology that realizes large-volume transmissions without increasing the used frequency. I also investigate the applications of communication and wireless communication technologies in non-communication fields, not only between people, but also objects.
                Teaching Philosophy
I aim to educate students to actively participate as professionals in the electric, electronic, and communication fields. I also aim to foster a global perspective by giving students an opportunity to have interactions with foreign researchers.
