Research Themes
Elucidating the behavior of unsteady flow around blades
My research focuses on the flow instability and turbulent transition with the aim of improving the performance of fluid machinery. Using hot-wire anemometry and particle image velocimetry, I mainly study the unsteady flow around the wings of a low-pressure turbine on an aircraft engine in a wind tunnel experiment.

Teaching Philosophy
My goal is to teach students to be capable of proactively taking on complex challenges in mechanical engineering and related fields while expanding their expertise, for my students to be able to think and provide explanations logically.
