Renewal of Academic Exchange Agreement with the Graduate School of Energy Science and Technology, Chungnam National University (Korea)

The Faculty of Science and Engineering, Iwate University, Japan and The Graduate School of Energy Science and Technology (GEST), Chungnam National University (CNU), Korea have renewed their academic exchange agreement as of April 8, 2023 (retroaction).
Although the exchange has continued through the Sakura Science Program and other programs since the signing of the agreement on April 8, 2013, face-to-face exchange programs have been suspended for the past several years due to COVID-19. After the COVID-19 restrictions ended in May last year, both universities reaffirmed their intention to continue exchanges, and renewed their agreement.
It is expected that the cooperative relationship between both universities will be further enhanced not only through student exchange on summer programs, but also through faculty / researcher exchange and joint research.
