Research Themes
Life supporting technologies that enhance people’s daily lives
In collaboration with medical research institutes, I am conducting various studies to support rehabilitation and independent living for the elderly and people with physical disabilities.

Teaching Philosophy
I am fostering students and graduates who can understand the problems facing the elderly and people with disabilities from an engineering point of view, and take on problem-solving with a flexible way of thinking that is not restrained by common practice.
