Research Themes

Exploring new possibilities for turbomachinery and heat exchangers

I am researching improving the performance of turbomachinery, such as turbines and propellers, as well as heat exchangers. I am also researching engineering applications that utilize the excellent characteristics and functions of living organisms, as well as the elucidation of the locomotion abilities of living organisms. I am working on developing technologies aimed at realizing a sustainable society and discovering and elucidating new phenomena by making full use of fluid analysis and wind tunnel testing.

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching policy is to help students cultivate their abilities to identify and solve problems through research.
