Research Themes
Study on the dynamics and toxicity assessment of organic pollutants
Focusing on organic pollutants in nature, we analyze "where they originate and where they accumulate" with analytical instruments. We clarify the structure of compounds whose molecular structure changes in the process of circulating in the environment. Then, we will work on their synthesis. In addition, we conduct research to evaluate the risk to humans and ecosystems by utilizing concentration distribution and toxicity data of organic pollutants.
