Striving to understand how animals experience taste through genetic research
Amongst the five senses that human beings normally casually experience, the senses of smell and taste are together referred to as chemosensory. There are still many unanswered questions regarding the biological mechanisms for detecting taste. We strive to understand how animals experience taste through genetic research using model organisms and nematodes that have the same chemosensory abilities as higher life forms.

Teaching Philosophy
I seek students who have dreams and passion. I support them so they are able to stand tall as good members of society.
