Reactivity of functional compounds on materials surfaces and its applications
I am researching on environment-friendly composite manufacturing and technology. Namely, through the mechanism investigation of the adsorption of reactive compounds on the solid surfaces, functional surface preparation, oxide formation process and its reaction mechanism at the molecular level, we are working on creating novel functional composite materials that are not shown by inorganic and organic substances respectively. Furthermore, we are expanding to applied research on environment-friendly compounding from the viewpoint of material processing and assembly technology and research that can propose bonding reliability in manufacturing.
Cultivation of talents with basic abilities that can play an active role in every place and contribute to social development. We will train students who are capable of self-thinking and provide them with opportunities to develop their abilities and develop logical thinking, not just gain knowledge. In addition, we will strive to cultivate talents who can understand the relationship between the learned theories and the real world.
